It shouldn’t surprise you to find strangers, not guest of the hotel, hanging out in the community lobby area, which features a photo booth, beautiful air plants, a massive square-shaped coffee table, and cozy lounge areas on multiple levels. So be prepared. Sometimes you’ll find a dj spinning records in the lobby, and the restaurants and small bar that accompany the interior lobby are just too cool for others to pass up.

Hang downstairs adjacent to the lobby and get one of the best dinners Portland has to offer, at Clyde Commons, or walk a few steps to the end of hte block and get the best pastrami sandwich at Kenny and Zuke’s Delicatesen.
